This week's choices run from building a brighter block world to surviving a dungeon with a very large gun. For Monday, October 26 through Sunday, November 1, 2026, our selected calendar adds Minecraft's Switch 2 edition, SULFUR's full release, Phantom Blade Zero and Hello Kitty Party Land to an already busy Xbox week.
These are different kinds of arrival: a new platform edition, an exit from Early Access and new games. That distinction matters before you buy something you already own, organize a multiplayer session, or commit the weekend to another dungeon run.

Tuesday: Minecraft reaches Switch 2, with an upgrade distinction
Nintendo lists October 27 for the Switch 2 edition. Its description includes Vibrant Visuals, carrying worlds over from the Switch version and the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack. The visual upgrade has limits: it is unavailable in split-screen and with certain Marketplace worlds and content.
The ownership detail deserves attention. Nintendo advertises a free digital Standard Edition upgrade for owners of a digital Switch copy. Physical owners should not read that as the same free offer. The page separately describes an in-game discounted Ultimate Collection offer that includes physical-copy owners, with its own dates and conditions.
Check that exact offer before buying or transferring anything. Cross-platform play requires a Microsoft account, and online multiplayer requires Nintendo Switch Online. Read those requirements before organizing online play.
Wednesday: SULFUR finishes Early Access
Perfect Random dates SULFUR 1.0 for October 28, alongside the announced console versions in the table. The developer describes completed progression, an expanded enchantment system, a quest log and further balancing and polish.
One expectation needs to stay outside the party invitation: multiplayer is not part of 1.0. Perfect Random says it plans to work on multiplayer after release. That is future work, not a mode you should promise a friend for Wednesday.
Phantom Blade Zero: watch the storefront date
S-GAME's martial-arts action RPG is listed for PS5 and PC. The current Steam page displays October 28; PlayStation's US page and Epic's release announcement show October 29. Those pages do not provide one matching release date, so check your chosen storefront before planning around the launch.
The game follows Soul, a warrior with only 66 days left to live, through a conspiracy in its martial world. For planning purposes, the useful action is simpler than his assignment: check the countdown and version on the store you actually intend to use. A calendar summary is not a preload timer.
Thursday: Hello Kitty brings the group option
Bandai Namco dates Hello Kitty Party Land for October 29 on both Switch generations. Its announcement describes more than 45 mini-games and board games, avatar customization and up to four players, with local or online multiplayer.
This is the household alternative to the week's solo sword fights and dungeon runs. Choose around the people attending, then check the exact mode and platform requirements. Four interested people and four compatible ways to play are separate parts of the same evening.
